Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM)

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM) is a versatile therapy born from the fusion of Ayurvedic massage and Iyengar yoga by Master Kusum Modak. AYM adapts to clients' changing needs for dynamic or soothing sessions, aiming for centeredness and energy flow. This involves oil massage, stretches, and tractions, similar to sports massage or physiotherapy, addressing both physical and mental well-being.

AYM creates a secure, nurturing space, encouraging relaxation and deep breathing. It eases muscle tension, promotes joint mobility, and reduces stress by engaging the nervous system. Sessions can target injuries but focus holistically on the interconnected body.

Regular AYM enhances overall well-being, embodying "prevention is better than cure." This approach positively impacts personal, relational, and professional realms, fostering holistic wellness.

AYM blends deep tissue oil massage with assisted yoga stretches, tractions, and mobilisations, adapting uniquely to individual needs.

Chavutti Thirumal Massage

Chavutti Thirumal Massage originates in Kerala, South India, and was developed for maintaining suppleness in the body, and for treating pain and swelling caused by combat. It is however, equally suitable as a treatment for those not involved in regular or strenuous physical exercise and wishing to maintain their own fitness and well being.

Chavutti is based on the precise knowledge of the body”s energetic channels “nadis” or the meridian lines. Using the feet gives the feeling that tension is being gently ironed out. Receiving this bodywork is not only relaxing for the soft tissue in the body, it also can be rejuvenating and energising.
